CSR at Kg Kuala Tahan

UiTM, Universiti Teknologi MARA with the cooperation of Perhilitan, Department of Wildlife and National Park Conservation, has a research station at Kuala Keniam. It is situated about 2hours boat ride from Kuala Tahan.

As a follow up to giving and sharing with the local society, UiTM with the cooperation of the JKKK, the committee overseeing the security dan development of Kg Kuala Tahan will be providing services to enhance the quality of life among the people of Kg Kuala Tahan. Individuls and corporations ho are interested to contribute via Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are invited to contact Dr Narehan Hassan, head of Industrial and Community Networking, UiTM. This is a map of Kampung (village) of Kuala Tahan, the gateway into Taman Negara. Visitors without prior bookings for accommodations, etc are advised to go to the tourism centre located at the end of the road overlooking the taman negara. The tourist centre is about 100m from this signboard and the bus stop if you arrive by road.

The tourist centre in the map is stated as a souvineir centre.

Congratulations to SIFE UiTM

Congratulations to SIFE UiTM for emerging as the champion for 2010 SIFE Malaysia competetion. By being the champion, SIFE UiTM will be representing Malaysia to Los Angeles, USA for SIFE World Cup 2010.

Among the projects presented is the project by SIFE UiTM with the community of Kuala Tahan, Pahang. Both SIFE UiTM and the community of Kuala Tahan greatly benefited from this cooperation.

Kuala Keniam Research Station

Situated at Kuala Keniam, along Sungai Tembeling is Kuala Keniam Research Station (KKRS). It is station for researchers who are interested to do research at Taman Negara.
